Under the leadership of Director of Music Jared Jacobsen, music is integrated into the liturgy at every service. Adept at both the organ and piano, Jared offers beautiful and sometimes unusual preludes, postludes, and special music. With his background in all major denominations and his interest in liturgical practice, he is actively involved in designing fresh and relevant worship. The congregation boasts of several strong singers and both choir anthems and congregational hymn-singing add to the service.

Choir

The choir, led by Jared Jacobsen, consists of ten to fifteen members. It usually rehearses between services on Sunday and sings most Sundays, alternating between the 9:00 a.m. and the 11 a.m. services. Sacred Song Services

In addition to the Sunday morning services, Sacred Song services are held on Sunday evenings, several times a year. These are based on evening services long held at the Chatauqua Institute in New York, and consist of a mixture of readings, hymns, and other music.
